I wrote this from the perspective of thinking back on a past relationship. I think it's natural to think back on past relationships and remember the good times you spent together, even if it didn't end up working out. I’m originally from MA and lived there my whole life up until 25, but at the time of writing this, I’ve been living in LA for about 4 years now. It’s crazy to me thinking back on past memories back in MA cause it feels like that was a whole different life from what I’m living now. It kinda feels like I started a whole new life and left that old one behind when I moved. So that got me feeling sentimental, and missing my old friends and family. So I wrote this song about missing old love and wondering where they are now, and how much things change. This song is probably one of my favorites that I’ve ever written. Obviously I’m a huge fan of music and a lot of songs influenced this one. I may have even quoted some song names and albums that are important to me in this one. We’ll see how many you can point out.
