I think this song is a sweet dance, house, edm type song. I really like how it came out and was stoked when it was finished. The amount of energy I felt from the instrumental really helped me write the lyrics. I tend to write a lot of love type songs so that's what I was feeling with this track as well. There’s a subtle resemblance to my song “Psycho” but I wanted to reverse the roles with this one. In this song, the guy is referred to as the psycho in the meaning that he would do anything for this girl. I made the lyrics a little more aggressive cause that’s how the song was making me feel. The chorus is my favorite part of this song, it gives me such a euphoric feeling so I related that to the song. “When I die I wanna feel this alive” refers to the guy’s mental state when he finds out the girl reciprocates love for him and I think that’s one of the most powerful lines I’ve ever written. To me, what would make me feel most alive is playing these songs in front of people like you. What about you? I hope this song gives you a rush of energy and emotions.
