This song is about my struggles with alcohol abuse, not knowing how to cope with a bad break up and being alone. Drinking to try and forget and move on from a relationship was definitely a bad habit I developed. I made a lot of bad decisions while under the influence and it became a big problem in my life. I'm beyond blessed that nothing terrible ever happened and I am just glad I was able to get myself under control before things got worse. I was too selfish and wasn't thinking about any consequences that could possibly happen. I am no more special than anyone else, and I am glad I was able to fight off my demons before things got worse. This song is for anyone battling their own demons. You are loved and worth every breath you take. I hope you never forget that.
