Lyrics
Thinking back on everything I said I wanna do
Throwing out the doubts, I still have so much left to prove
I swear it’s all love now, I started off as nothing
Life is so breezy
Maybe I'm a fuck up, that’s me
Truthfully I’m grateful every second I’m breathing, I’m okay
Thinking I’ll make it, you got one shot
You better take it
We were just kids
Living for the hell of it
Flipping off the system
Making that shit irrelevant
Don't know who the fuck you thought
I was back then
You’ll never see him again
It only happens once
Life is so beautiful Delicate like a glass cloud
Hold it close to you
Don't let it float away now
I swear it's all love now
A sunset on the east coast
Life is so breezy
Maybe I'm a fuck up, you know
Holding on, I love the feel, I won't let it go Imperfectly stable, I’m making progress
Every single low
We were just kids
Living for the hell of it
Flipping off the system
Making that shit irrelevant
Don't know who the fuck you thought I
Was back then
You’ll never see him again
It only happens once
To all the ones I’ll always love
This life, It only happens once
You better not forget that
This everything you've ever wanted
I swear I'm so in love with this feeling Thankful for everything I am
Never ever could've gotten this far without
You know my heart is so heavy
From the love, I'm blessed with every single day
I swear I never could've made this far
I swear I hope you know
The story behind 'Hazel Bloom'
By now you may be wondering how I came up with the name 'Hazel Bloom' or you may have just thought that was my first and last name lol. Well there is a small story as to why I decided to release songs under the name 'Hazel Bloom.' My friend, Mike Hazel is the main inspiration behind Hazel Bloom.
He was into the music scene and I knew he wanted to be in a band which is something I could really relate with. He was the first person I could talk to about music in a long time. I grew up playing in bands my whole life, but at some point life got in the way and it somewhat drifted away. He was the one that really inspired me to get back into writing music and that seemed to reignite my passion for music. Unfortunately, he was taken from this world way too soon.
I wanted to create a type of art that resonates not only his presence but for anyone that has ever lost somebody or something. Even though they are not in this life anymore, I wanted to make something that still projects their presence; something to show that they still are making an impact on people in a positive way. Even though they may be gone from this world, they are still resonating and they are still in ‘Bloom’.
Thank you
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for being here, hanging out with me, giving me even 1 second of your time to read this, listen to my music, or interact with me. Truly, it means the absolute world to me. Music and these songs are my life and all I've ever wanted to do. Music has always been a medium for me to express my self and has always been a place where I've found acceptance. I'm so glad we had the chance to get to know each other on a deeper level. My music is nothing without people like you listening. You are just as important as I am. Welcome to the family and I hope you know you are loved. See you tomorrow for our last day of the hangout in Club Emotion. Thank you again and see you there.
