Day 1: The meaning behind
Space Between Words on a Page
Behind The Name
The inspiration behind the album name came to me when I watched the movie "Her" for the first time. It stems from the following scene in the movie: “It's like I'm reading a book, and it's a book I deeply love, but I'm reading it slowly now so the words are really far apart and the spaces between the words are almost infinite. I can still feel you and the words of our story, but it's in this endless space between the words that I'm finding myself now. It’s a place that’s not of the physical world - it's where everything else is that I didn't even know existed. I love you so much, but this is where I am now. This is who I am now. And I need you to let me go. As much as I want to I can't live in your book anymore.” I was trying to decide on a name that truly embodied the album for a few months and nothing seemed right. Then I saw this scene and it truly hit every emotion that is embodied in each song. True love, heartbreak, finding yourself, fantasies, growing into yourself. These are all elements I wrote about in this album and hearing this quote inspired the name behind it. Space Between Words on a Page

2 of my favorite movies
I think it's important for you to get to know me a little better. You've made it all the way here which is more than I could ever ask for. Not only have you listened to my music, but you also have an interest in what I'm about which I am so grateful for. So I'd love to give you more insight into who I am as a person. Since the album title was inspired from a scene of one of my favorite movies, I thought I would share 2 more of my favorite movies. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and 10 Things I Hate About You are at the top of my list. By now you can probably guess that Romance and Romantic Comedies are my favorite types of movies. Which is also the main element behind most of songs I write. I guess I'm fascinated by the emotions love can make you feel and that's why it's so relevant in all aspects of my life.
Thanks for being here
