HEY. I'M HAZEL BLOOM
If you've ever found yourself in a song when you couldn't find the words yourself, I think you're going to like it here.

I'm Dave, the guy behind Hazel Bloom.
I make alternative music about the stuff we don't always know how to talk about — mental health, nostalgia, relationships, grief, growing up, and all the weird shit that happens inside our heads.
If you've ever used music to process something you couldn't explain yourself...
welcome. You're in the right place.

For the nostalgic/emotional side of Hazel Bloom.
MAYBE YOU FOUND ME BECAUSE A VIDEO HIT A LITTLE TOO CLOSE TO HOME.
Maybe it was a video about why a certain song makes you miss someone you haven't talked to in years.
Maybe it was about nostalgia.
Maybe it was about the songs that raised us.
Maybe it was about why angry music can somehow make you feel better.
Or maybe you just heard one of my songs and thought:
"Wait... why does this feel like my life?"
That's exactly why I make music.
Hazel Bloom is for people who use music for more than background noise.
We use it to remember.
To grieve.
To scream in the car.
To romanticize our past.
To process things we don't have the words for.
To feel understood.
And sometimes...
just to make it through the day.
If that's you, I think you're going to feel at home here.
THIS is about Connection

THIS IS WHAT HAZEL BLOOM IS ABOUT.
🖤 MENTAL HEALTH
Songs for the things that are difficult to say out loud.
The thoughts you keep to yourself.
The feelings you can't quite explain.
Songs that remind you that you're not alone.
🥀 NOSTALGIA
The people, places, songs and moments we aren't quite ready to let go of.
Because sometimes missing the past isn't about wanting to go back.
It's about remembering who you were.
🤝 COMMUNITY
You don't have to have everything figured out.
You don't have to fit into a box.
You can just show up as yourself.
That's Hazel Bloom.

DISSOCIATIVE MEMORIES
This is the album that captures what Hazel Bloom is all about.
Dissociative Memories is a collection of songs about what happens when your own memories don't always feel like memories.
It's about grief.
It's about feeling disconnected from yourself.
It's about nostalgia, relationships, identity, healing and the strange ways our minds protect us when things become too much.
Every song is a different piece of that story.
Some of these songs came from things I wanted to forget.
Some came from things I couldn't let go of.
And some came from realizing that maybe the only way through certain things is to finally put them into words.
I didn't make this album because I had everything figured out.
I made it because I didn't.
And somewhere along the way, I realized that the things I was trying to understand through these songs were things other people were feeling too.
11 songs. One story.

The Devil and GodHazel Bloom
00:00 / 03:20
For the heavier side of the story.

APPARENTLY, I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO FEELS THIS WAY.
I started writing these songs because they helped me make sense of things I couldn't explain.
Then something happened that I never expected.
Other people started finding themselves in them too.

Every message like these reminds me why I keep doing this.
Because the coolest thing about making music isn't watching a number go up.
It's realizing that somewhere, someone pressed play...
and felt a little less alone.
AND THEN I MADE THIS.
Streaming the album is incredible.
But there's something different about actually owning an album.
Holding the artwork.
Reading the lyrics.
Flipping through the liner notes.
Putting the needle down.
Watching the record spin.
Having something physical that reminds you of a specific time in your life.
So I wanted to give Dissociative Memories a physical home.
Not just something you could stream.
Something you could actually keep.
So...
I MADE 300 OF THEM.

There's no giant corporation behind these records.
When you buy one, you're directly helping me keep making music — recording, touring, writing, and putting the next songs into the world.
And honestly...
after years of making music and hoping somebody would connect with it, having someone decide:
“I want to take this home with me.”
means a lot.
So thank you.
For listening.
For sharing.
For showing up.
For buying a record.
For being here.
You're a bigger part of Hazel Bloom than you probably realize.
MAYBE DISSOCIATIVE MEMORIES IS WHERE YOUR HAZEL BLOOM STORY STARTS.
You might have found me five minutes ago.
You might have found me because of one random video.

You might not know every lyric.
You might not know my entire story.
And that's okay.
Everybody has to discover something for the first time.
Maybe this is yours.
Maybe years from now you'll look at this record sitting on your shelf and remember exactly where you were when you found it.
Maybe you'll play it when you need it.
Maybe you'll scream the lyrics in your car.
Maybe it'll become one of those albums that reminds you of a specific version of yourself.
That's what music has always done for me.
And that's what I hope this record does for you.
