Behind The Song
I wrote this song about losing the closest person in my life unexpectedly. Whether it's by accident, or on purpose, It’s one of the hardest things to deal with. My whole entire world, the person I told everything. One second they’re there, the next they’re gone forever… I started to question “what if I did something different?” “what if i said something different?” could I have saved them? All these questions started racing through my head and caused me to spiral. Why couldn't it have been me? I would give my place to get you back on this earth. They were supposed to be here with me forever… For me, late nights are where I find my mind wandering. I start wishing they were still alive, still here with me. They were my world, how could they not be here anymore? It changed my whole life.
The fact is, you can't change what’s already done. Anything you say or do can't bring that person back. Life can change in an instant. Take no moment or person for granted. Don't blink too soon, you could miss it all.
